Elementary Outdoor Learning Garden

Last year we were awarded a $1000 grant from the Loveday Foundation to establish an Outdoor Learning Laboratory. This garden is located between the two story elementary building and the football bleachers. Each grade level is responsible for one area. We have planted a variety of winter plants such as petunias, lettuce, broccoli, parsley and collard greens. We are looking forward to learning about plants, soil, nutrition and the weather.

Homecoming week

Tattnall Square Academy Elementary school celebrated Homecoming last week with special activities every day. We participated in two pep rallies, dress up days like camo day and decade day and many other special events aimed at creating school spirit.
Best of all we won the football game Friday night.
