Late Summer Update

With the start of school less than a week away, I wanted give you an update on several items.

We will add a third section of 6th grade due to increased enrollment. Our numbers in that grade are now in the mid 40's . We have hired former Tattnall teacher Mrs. Patti Garretson to teach 5th and 6th grade Reading and Bible.

Sixth grade class rolls are now online. Thanks for your patience while we were dealing with the increased enrollment.

The elementary Open House and Prayer Walk are scheduled for Tuesday, August 10th beginning at 5:00. Teachers will be in their classrooms to meet, answer questions and provide guidance for the upcoming school year. 

It's going to be a fantastic year at Tattnall Square Academy and I look forward to working with you and seeing you on campus.

Congratulations

Congratulations to the newly elected Elementary Student Council Officers for the 2010-2011 school year.

They are:

Primary Representative- Riley Roberts

Parliamentarian- Brock Baggerly

Corresponding Secretary- Ivey Whetsel

Treasurer- Dalton Ford

Secretary- McCaleigh Harris

Vice President- Charlie Trevitt

President- Garrett Houston

They will be officially inducted next Wednesday at chapel beginning at 10:00 in Trojan Hall.

Also next Wednesday, we will have a moving up ceremony for the 6th grade as they prepare for the school wide ceremony on Thursday. This will begin immediately following student council induction.

40th year celebration

Tattnall Square Academy will celebrate n 40 years of  serving families in the Middle Georgia area during the weekend of March 19-21.

The weekend will kickoff with a Celebrate Tattnall Party on Friday, March 19th at Wesley glen Ministries at 7:00. Attendees will enjoy music by the Grapevine, bid on auction items, and enjoy great food and friends.

Saturday, March 20th will bring an Alumni Baseball game, an Alumni concert, and reunions for the classes of 1980, 1990, 1995, and 2000.  Sunday, March 21st will be TSA day at Tattnall Square Baptist Church. 

February 8 - March 19th - Honor Tattnall

• Gifts of $40 in honor of a person, event, or special memory for you in the history of Tattnall.
• You may make gifts in honor of as many people, events, or special memories as you desire.
• Please send all donations to TSA and clearly designate the honoree by March 19th. 
• Our goal is $40,000 from February 10th to March 19th  to benefit the Annual Fund. 
• Supporters of this campaign will be our guests for the Celebrate Tattnall party

Welcome to 2010

The months of January and February bring winter’s chill, potential snow days,  along with a multitude of activities at Tattnall Square Academy Elementary School.  The Geography Bee was last Tuesday, sixth grader Paul Harrington was the winner and the Spelling Bee is this Tuesday, the 19th . We hosted a very successful Open House last week with over thirty families in attendance. Another Open House, along with  Grandparent's Day, is scheduled  for the first week of February. These are just a few of the many activities ongoing at Tattnall Square Academy

The faculty and administration of Tattnall Square Academy are committed  to your children. Together, we have faith that God will guide our every action with His wisdom. As partners in the educational process, we can all achieve success if we work toward the common goal, the education of our children as Christian leaders..
